Who We Are

The Jamaica Ex-Soldiers Association, New York Inc. was officially constituted under the laws of New York on December 27, 2007 in the State of New York, USA. We are a federally recognized 501 ( c) non-profit, non-partisan organization.

Membership is open to all non-serving members of the Jamaica Defence Force at home and abroad as well as relatives and friends of members.

Meetings are held monthly to keep members informed on the issues in our community, at home and in the US, and also to plan and discuss matters that are pertinent to the operation of the organization.

We envision a world where ex -servicemen and women of the Jamaica Defence Force are living healthy productive lives. We picture all the various organizations around the world representing ex-service members collaborating to address the needs and provide all the necessary support for our brothers and sisters in need, no matter where in the world they may be.

We are committed to:

Strengthening the governance and structure as well as grow the membership and effectiveness of the Jamaica ex-Soldiers Association, New York. We are also committed to working collaboratively as a unit and with other JESA chapters to  move the purpose of the organization forward.
